Rock Climbing
Sono Field House is home to the area's newest top of the line rock climbing wall. Our challenging rock wall features overhangs, cracks, from beginner to expert level routes. Designed for events and indoor practice, the wall is a great place to learn to climb or to stay in shape. Whether this is your first climb or you are a seasoned pro, climbing our wall is an exciting experience that will keep you coming back time after time.
Our rock wall is available for individual and group climbing, or incorporate a climbing program into your next Sono Field House party or special event!

The Sono Field House is pleased to announce our "Meet the Rock" series on the rock wall.
Sono Field House Members are invited to experience our state-of-the-art climbing wall FREE OF CHARGE during one of these exciting sessions. Group size will be limited so register now to secure your spot!
March 2010 "Meet the Rock" Series:
Thursday, March 18 4pm-6pm and 6pm-8pm
Cost: ONE Free Session for SFH Members!
Our climbing wall area includes:
- Approximately 1,500 square feet of climbing wall reaching 35 ft high
- 10 climbing routes, including 3 lead routes
- 4 auto belay systems
- 2 cracks, one of which is "leadable"
- Challenging overhangs
- Fully textured wall and custom designed rubber flooring
ROCK WALL CLIMBING SAFETY
In order to climb at the Sono Field House, you must:
- Have written consent by a parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18 (waiver signed).
- Successfully pass the belay safety test for top roping or bouldering.
